Dan Wanous Business Development Officer, Thrivent Advisor Network
Dan Wanous is a business development officer for Thrivent Advisor Network. Wanous works with financial advisors who are considering a partnership with Thrivent Advisor Network and helps the organization’s existing community of purpose-driven advisors manage, scale and grow their businesses with the goal of improving people’s lives. Wanous got his start in the independent wealth management business by interning with a registered investment advisor as a college senior. That experience gave him a deep appreciation for the strong relationships that advisors form with their clients and the important impact advisors can have on the communities they serve. Since joining Thrivent as an investment operations analyst in 2015, Wanous has held a variety of roles, including platform development, corporate strategy and business development. Wanous earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Bethel University.
