You can earn up to 20 CE hours per program offered at ACE Academy in San Diego, CA April 30-May 3, 2023. Here you will find all of the Continuing Education details.

In-Person

The in-person program offers up to 20 premier, audit-proof continuing education credits (pending approval).

*Attendees of the ACE Academy program in San Diego will receive complimentary access to the ACE on-demand product.

On-Demand

The on-demand program offers up to 15 premier, audit-proof continuing education credits (pending approval).

Investments & Wealth Institute® 

CIMA®, CPWA® and RMA® certifications: This program will offer up to 20 hours of CE in-person and up to 15 hours of CE on-demand. Attendees of the ACE Academy program in San Diego will receive complimentary access to the ACE on-demand product. A benefit of choosing Institute programs for your CE needs is that all programs offer Premier CE credit, which means all sessions are guaranteed to be accepted for CE. Credit is uploaded to your certificant record on your behalf, and these audit-proof CE credit hours will be reported and reflected in your online account approximately two weeks after the event.

CFP® Board 

CFP® certification: This program will be submitted to the CFP Board for review. The Institute will report attendance on your behalf to the CFP Board approximately two weeks after the event.

To verify we have your CFP ID: log into your dashboard account and click “update my demographic information” on the right-hand side to locate the CFP ID field.

How to Earn Continuing Education (CE) Credits

In-Person attendees

  • For each session you attend in person in San Diego, an evaluation form will be required for both Investments & Wealth Institute CE and CFP CE. Completing an evaluation form will attest to your participation for CE purposes.
  • Be sure to complete the overall conference evaluation to confirm your conference attendance.
  • PLEASE NOTE: You need only complete one evaluation form per session to qualify for both Institute CE and CFP CE credits.
  • The deadline to complete the evaluation forms for sessions you watched in person is May 12, 2023.
  • Evaluation forms are located on the conference platform in the Evaluations icon.
  • You will have access to select sessions after the conference that were recorded and available on demand.
  • All sessions watched on demand will be tracked through your Online Learning Center and a short post-session quiz will be required for completion.
  • Sessions watched in person will not require a quiz. Your attendance and completed evaluation will suffice.

On-Demand attendees (NEW, please read) 

  • All sessions watched on demand will be tracked through your Online Learning Center.
  • A short quiz is required for all on-demand CE, including Institute CE and CFP CE credit hours.
  • The Institute will report attendance on your behalf to the CFP Board approximately two weeks after the event. The CFP ID field on your Institute account must be complete and accurate for this process to take place.

The Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) FP Canada™

For our Canadian attendees, this program will be submitted to IIROC to be reviewed for acceptance for professional development continuing education (CE) credits as well as to FP Canada™. We anticipate sending certificates of attendance for you to self-report CE to these organizations within two months after the conference. 

Other Certifications/Licenses

Upon request, the Institute will provide a certificate of attendance after the conference for you to report CE credit hours to certifying bodies and licensing boards not listed above (e.g., state insurance departments, bar associations, etc.).

The topics addressed in this conference are designed for experienced investment and wealth advisors. While the Investments & Wealth Institute does not explicitly require prerequisite education or experience to attend, attendees who wish to maximize the value of each session should consider participating in the Investments & Wealth Institute's CIMA®, CPWA® or RMA® certification programs.

In-Person Attendees 
April 28: Conference platform opens for in-person registrants with access to attendees, exhibitor information and networking profiles. 
April 30-May 3: ACE Academy is live in San Diego. 
May 12-November 17: Select sessions held in person will be recorded and available in your Online Learning Center on your IWI dashboard for on-demand viewing. Recorded sessions watched for CE will require a short post-session quiz.
  
On-Demand Attendees 
May 12: Access to recorded sessions opens for on-demand attendees.
May 12-November 17: Select sessions held in person are available for on-demand viewing in your Online Learning Center on your IWI dashboard. Evaluations and speaker handouts are included.
