Doug Sandler, CFA®

Global Strategist

Doug serves as Global Strategist, bringing more than 25 years of investment experience to the firm. In addition, he serves on the firm’s Board of Directors and the firm’s Investment Committee and Leadership Team.

In his current role, Sandler serves as a ‘bridge’ between the investment team, the sales team and outside due diligence departments. He is also a spokesperson for the organization and is a regular guest on the financial news channels (CNBC, Bloomberg) and is frequently quoted in the financial press.

Prior to his current role, Sandler was RiverFront’s Chief US Equity Officer and also served as a Managing Director and Chief Equity Strategist for Wachovia Securities.

Doug earned a BS in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Richmond, graduating with honors. He received his CFA designation in 1997.

The Science: With four children, two dogs, and a rotating list of other pets (chinchillas, ducks, foster puppies and goldfish), the Sandler household is an everyday study of chaos theory. Sandler looks forward to returning to the relative sanity of the equity markets each and every weekday morning.
