Harry Phinney is a fixed income investment director at Capital Group. He has 16 years of industry experience and has been with Capital Group for five years. Prior to joining Capital, Harry worked as a client portfolio manager at MacKay Shields where he specialized in global fixed income strategies. Before that, he was a senior product specialist and institutional portfolio manager at Franklin Templeton, specializing in emerging markets and global macro alternative fixed income strategies. He holds an MBA in international business from Northeastern University, a master's degree in applied statistics and financial mathematics from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in international political economy, graduating magna cum laude, from Northeastern University. Harry is based in Los Angeles.
