Is the Investment Advisor Forum conference canceled?

 

No, the Investment Advisor Forum has not been canceled, it is moving to a two-day, 100% online format December 7-8, and will include both livestreamed and on-demand sessions.

 

While there will be no in-person component in New York, the Investment Advisor Forum remains the premier conference focused on investment management for advisors. The two-day conference gathers the right mix of up-to-date academic, industry expertise, and the best practitioners in the field, covering the latest in the issues facing your clients. In addition to our great speaker lineup, attendees will have access to designated networking opportunities, a virtual exhibit hall, live Q&A with speakers, and virtual polling.


Why is the Investment Advisor Forum conference going 100% online?

 

The Investments & Wealth Institute has decided in the best interest of the health and safety of our attendees, to move our 2021 Investment Advisor Forum to a livestream + on-demand format occurring December 7-8, 2021. You do not need to take any action; you have been seamlessly transferred. This decision was made from a deep concern for the health and well-being of our registrants, staff, vendors, and the Institute community.

 

Moving to an online format will enable us to provide the premier, Ivy League-quality experience that our attendees and partners expect. In addition to the best practitioners and investment management academics in the world, attendees will have access to designated networking opportunities, a virtual exhibit hall, live Q&A with speakers, and virtual polling.

You do not need to take any action, you have been seamlessly transferred.
As a registrant, you will be provided with custom login credentials and instructions by the Institute five (5) days prior to the event. You will use your credentials to login to the Investment Advisor Forum, December 7-8, 2021.

 

I am registered for Investment Advisor Forum; how can I cancel my hotel registration?


Hotel reservations made through the Institute’s room block will be automatically canceled. Attendees will receive a cancellation confirmation email from the hotel directly. If you made your own hotel reservations outside of the conference block, you must cancel directly with the property you selected.

 

What is the cancellation policy for Investment Advisor Forum: Livestream + On-Demand?


Cancellation/Transfer Policy—Cancellations for conference registration must be received in writing. Please send cancellation requests to conferences@i-w.org. The Investments & Wealth Institute is unable to provide refunds or transfer registration fees to another event within seven days of the conference. You will receive an email from the Institute conference team confirming receipt of your request; if you do not receive an email with this confirmation within 24 business hours, please call 303-770-3377.

 

When will I have access to the Investment Advisor Forum: Livestream + On-Demand event platform?


All registrants will be provided with custom login credentials and instructions by the Institute five days prior to the event.

 

December 6, 2021: Conference platform opens with access to attendees, exhibitor information, and much more. On-Demand and EdTalk sessions available for attendees to view for CE credit.
December 7-8, 2021, Livestreamed conference: Investment Advisor Forum held livestream.
December 10-22, 2021, On-Demand: All sessions held livestream, December 7-8, will be recorded and available on the conference platform for on-demand viewing. On-Demand sessions are worth full CE credits and available to all attendees.
December 22-June 15, 2022: All sessions will be available in your “my online learning center” through your IWI member dashboard.

 

How do I log in to the Investment Advisor Forum: Livestream + On-Demand event platform?


As a registrant, you will be provided with custom login credentials and instructions by the Institute five days prior to the event. You will use your credentials to log into the Wealth Advisor Forum platform for the entire conference, on both December 7 and December 8, 2021.

 

I am a Sponsor/Partner/Exhibitor, how do I register?


Sponsor, partner, and exhibitor representatives will register with I&WI staff. Please reach out to your Institute representative for more information.

What are the system requirements for Investment Advisor Forum: Livestream + On-Demand?


You will only need an internet connection to join with your login credentials. The recommended browsers are Firefox, Chrome or Safari.

The Institute will provide detailed login instructions five days prior to the event.
