If I am in the process of completing a course in the current online learning system and the transition to the Academy has started, will I still receive credit?
If you have registered, just started or are in the middle of a course, your enrollment will be moved to the IWI Academy. Once you access the IWI Academy, you will see the courses on the lefthand side of your IWI Academy home page in a box that is called ‘Resume Course’. From there, you can click on the tab titled ‘In Progress’ and click on your course.
Will my membership benefits be the same in the IWI Academy?
Yes, you will have access to all the same pricing in your membership tier. The IWI Academy will reflect the discount of your membership benefits for each course.
Can I just continue doing my learning in the existing environment and not transition over to the new one?
No, access to the online learning center will be removed and you will need to access the IWI Academy to continue or finish your course(s).
How do I log in to the IWI Academy?
To access the IWI Academy you will need to go to www.iwi.org and navigate to your member dashboard and click on IWI Academy in the upper right-hand corner.
What are the new features of the IWI Academy?
Once I purchase a course, how do I find the course?
Once you have purchased a course, you will have directions on how to navigate back to the IWI Academy. It will take approximately 5 minutes to process your enrollment. 5 minutes after you have purchased a course or on-demand recording, the course will show up on the left-hand side of your homepage in a box titled “Resume Course”. Click and the course to start your learning.
Other Questions
If I completed a course in the old Online Learning System and I need proof I completed the course, how can I find that information?
Access to the previous Online Learning System is removed starting on November 2, 2023. If you need records or certificates from the old system, please e-mail: education@i-w.org.
How long will it take CE to show up on my certification record(s) once I complete a program?
Please allow 24 hours for your CE to be reflected on your account.
Will my CE record automatically to my account?
Once you complete a course or on-demand recording your credit will be applied to your profile on your member dashboard.
How do I find Ethics, Tax or CFP CE within the IWI Academy?
There is a search bar on the main IWI Academy homepage. Within the search bar type what type of CE you are looking to find: ethics, tax & regulations, CFP and click enter. Courses with those types of CE can be found in the title an description of the course.
How do I contact IWI if I have a question regarding the transition of systems?
