Biography

Jackson Long is the private markets lead for the Raymond James Alternative Investments Research and Due Diligence team. Since joining Raymond James in December 2018, Jackson has sourced and underwritten multiple private market and hedge fund mandates that have been approved by the Executive Committee. Prior to joining Raymond James, Jackson spent three years at DUMAC (the investment arm of Duke University) as a senior analyst in their private investments team, reporting directly to the head of private investments. Prior to DUMAC, Jackson was an investment banking analyst for Robert W. Baird, serving in the industrial distribution group. Jackson graduated from the University of Florida with high honors in 2014 with a Master’s in Finance and a Bachelor’s in Business Economics.
