Super Session #1: Laddering Into Retirement: From Income to Outcome

The advisor’s role is increasingly driven not by asset allocation or manager selection, but advice and planning--and the mother of all planning issues is retirement.  Join PIMCO's John Nersesian and Avi Sharon as they explore a retirement framework which seeks to address the desire for both predictable income and long term growth — without giving up control or the ability to change course.  This framework draws on our understanding of Richard Thaler’s work, a senior retirement advisor to PIMCO, our experience with outcome oriented solutions and behavioral insights from industry thought leaders.  In this session we’ll discuss how to turn sequence of returns risk into a potential tailwind, encourage better behaviors around social security claiming, solve for predictable income streams as well as portfolio growth and also to create a plan that is intuitive, simple to implement, and flexible to allow for changes in spending over time.

Super Session #6 and #12: Tax Planning 2020

This session will review changes in rates and deductions, focuses primarily on actionable tax planning strategies for advisors in the areas of deductions, investments and retirement. The session will be complemented by our 2020 Tax Reference Guide, a very popular tool for advisors.
