Biography

Kevin T. Carter is the founder and chief investment officer of EMQQ Global. Carter is also chairman of the EMQQ and FMQQ Index Committees. He was the founder and chief executive officer of AlphaShares, an investment firm that launched several Emerging Markets ETFs in partnership with Guggenheim Partners. Previously Carter was the founder and chief executive officer of Active Index Advisors acquired by Natixis in 2005 and the founder and chief executive officer of eInvesting acquired by ETRADE in 2000. Carter received a degree in economics from the University of Arizona in 1991 and began his career in 1992 with Robertson Stephens & Company.
