Biography

Maddi Dessner is director of global asset class services at Capital Group, home of American Funds. She has 27 years of industry experience and has been with Capital Group for two years. Prior to joining Capital, Dessner was head of investment specialists Americas within JP Morgan’s Multi Asset Solutions. Before that, she was chief operating officer of their emerging markets equity team. She holds an MBA and a bachelor's degree in economics, both from The State University of New York at Buffalo. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Dessner is based in Los Angeles.
