Booking a room in the Institute’s room block is an important way to support the association and keep overall meeting costs as low as possible. Investments & Wealth Institute commits to a block of rooms at select hotels on behalf of conference attendees and has a financial obligation to fill these blocks. Please help us avoid potential penalties and control costs for future events by staying at the official hotel. Staying within the block is also more convenient and helps you stay connected with the informal activities and networking opportunities that occur at these sites during the conference. If you are required to reserve a room through your company’s travel department, please forward the booking link to them so that you can reserve a room in the Institute’s room block.
Please note that conference attendees who do not make their reservations within the Investments & Wealth Institute’s room block may not receive the same discounted rate or benefits.
Location and Transportation
The New York Marriott Marquis is located on West 46th Street and Broadway. Grand Central Station is 15 minutes across town, Penn Station is 15 minutes downtown, and Port Authority is 10 minutes downtown. If you are driving to the hotel using GPS, use the address 1535 Broadway for guidance to the hotel’s main entrance.
The New York Marriott Marquis is served by three airports: LaGuardia Airport, JFK International Airport, and Newark International Airport. Getting to the New York Marriott Marquis is easy with many options.
- LaGuardia Airport is nine miles from the hotel (30 minutes by car).
