Biography

Sarah Abernathy is a director and senior investment analyst for Envestnet | PMC.  In this role, she conducts research and due diligence on multi-asset strategist and factor-based investment managers, develops model portfolio allocations and supports the strategic development and implementation of advisory services and capabilities. Prior to joining Envestnet | PMC, Abernathy served as the director of consulting services for FDx Advisors. In that role, she consulted with advisors on custom allocations for high-net-worth clients, was a lead portfolio manager on the firm’s proprietary asset allocation program, and was a voting member of the Investment Research Group. Abernathy holds a bachelor’s degree with dual majors in finance and economics, and a minor in Spanish, from the University of Northern Iowa. She has earned the CFA® and CAIA® charters, and is a member of the CFA® Institute, the CFA® Society of Iowa and the CAIA® Association.
