Is there going to be a capacity limit on the number of attendees?

Currently, there are no restrictions on social distancing in Chicago but we will make every accommodation possible to provide comfortable spaces for all attendees, including an anticipated max of 300 people in the main meeting space, which normally holds over 600 people.

 

Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the venue. You can visit ALLMeetWell.com for specific information about Swissotel's updated cleanliness standards and social distancing policy.
 

Will I be required to wear a mask?

    • We ask that you fully comply with applicable Chicago and CDC COVID-19 health and safety measures and protocols while in attendance at Wealth Advisor Forum.
    • Follow City of Chicago mask mandate: Update as of 8/17/2 - Read the announcement
      • The city of Chicago announced Tuesday, 8/17/2021, an indoor mask mandate for all individuals 2 years and older, regardless of vaccination status, beginning Friday, Aug. 20. 
      • Masks are required in all indoor public settings, including meeting spaces, bars and restaurants, gyms, common areas of condos and multi-residential buildings, and private clubs.

Is proof of a COVID-19 vaccination required to be shown prior to entry to an Institute event?

Proof of vaccination will not be required and we encourage all participants to follow state and federal guidelines with respect to COVID.

 

Do I need to have my temperature checked upon entry?

We will not be conducting temperature checks at the event. If you feel sick and you are asked not to travel to the event, you will have access to the on-demand conference.

 

What if I become sick at the conference?

If you become sick on-site, you are requested to remain in your hotel room and contact our team at conferences@i-w.org. We will work in concert with the hotel to direct the participant toward appropriate medical care. For 24- hour medical assistance, please click HERE.

What is the cancellation policy for Wealth Advisor Forum 2021?

To provide you assurances with your plans to attend future in-person Institute events, we have made several arrangements to give you peace of mind. In the event you must cancel, there are several ways we may accommodate you.

If your preference of attending in person has changed since you first registered, you may change your registration to on-demand, for the same amount of CE credits. Simply:

          1.   Log into your Institute dashboard here
          2.   Select My Conferences from the left navigation.
          3.   Select Manage Registration.
          4.   Select how you will attend.
          5.   Select the Add To Cart button~ Note: This does not add anything to your cart – it just updates your record and will send you back to the manage registration page.

If you do not want to attend in person and do not want to transfer your registration to an on-demand virtual attendance, you may choose one of the following options through close of business on Tuesday, September 7th:

        • Transfer your registration to another IWI event.
        • Receive a full refund (less a processing fee).
        Please reach out to our conferences team by the close of business on Tuesday, September 7th, to transfer your registration to one of our future conferences at no additional cost or for a refund. To contact conferences, email conferences@i-w.org.

If you cancel after September 7, 2021, you may still earn all CE credits with the following options:

        • Attend the on-demand program for the same amount of CE credits (available through September 30, 2021).
        • Have access to the content through our online learning center (available October 1, 2021, through March 31, 2022).

Cancellations for conference registration must be received in writing. Please send cancellation requests to conferences@i-w.org. There are no refunds for no-shows. You will receive an email from the Institute conference team confirming the receipt of your request; if you do not receive an email with this confirmation within 24 business hours of your request to cancel, please call us at 303-770-3377.

When will I have access to the Wealth Advisor Forum 2021 event platform?

All registrants will be provided with custom login credentials and instructions by the Institute five days prior to the event.

 

September 13, 2021: The conference platform opens with access to attendees, exhibitor information, and much more. EdTalk sessions will be available for attendees to view for CE credit.

 

September 13 - 14, 2021, In-Person:  Wealth Advisor Forum held in person at the Swissotel in Chicago.

 

September 20 - 30, 2021, On-Demand:  All sessions held in person, Sept. 13 -14, will be recorded and available on the conference platform for on-demand viewing. On-Demand sessions are worth full CE credits and are available to all in-person and on-demand attendees.

 

October 1, 2021 - March 31, 2022:  All sessions will be available in your “my online learning center” through your IWI member dashboard.

How many continuing education (CE) credits could I earn by attending the Wealth Advisor Forum 2021?

Investments & Wealth Institute®
*Attendees may earn up to 18 premier, audit-proof continuing education credits.
CIMA®, CPWA®, RMA® certifications: This program will offer 18 CE hours. A benefit to choosing Institute programs for your CE needs is that all programs offer “Premier CE” credit, which means all sessions are guaranteed to be accepted for CE. Credit is uploaded to your certificant record on your behalf, and these audit-proof CE credit hours will be reported and reflected in your online account approximately two weeks after the event.

CFP Board
CFP® certification: This program will be submitted to the CFP Board for review. The Institute will report attendance on your behalf to the CFP Board approximately two weeks after the event.

 

How do I earn my (CE) credits?

Investments & Wealth Institute® CE credits 
In-Person and On-Demand attendees: Session evaluation forms are required for CE credits. For each session you attend, you will be required to submit an evaluation form to confirm your participation for CE purposes. Evaluation forms are located on the conference platform in the “Evaluations” icon. Be sure to complete the overall conference evaluation to confirm your conference attendance. The deadline to complete the evaluation forms for sessions you watched in person is September 30. 
 
CFP® CE credits (NEW–Please read carefully)
In-Person attendees:  Sessions that qualify for CFP CE credit will require completed evaluation forms. For each session you attend in person in Chicago, you will be required to submit an evaluation form to confirm your participation for CE purposes. The deadline to complete the evaluation forms for sessions you watched in person is September 30.  Evaluation forms are located on the conference platform in the “Evaluations” icon. Be sure to complete the overall conference evaluation to confirm your conference attendance.
 
We know you cannot be in two places at once and are excited to make recordings of breakout sessions that you do not attend in-person available to you on-demand after the conference. Please note that per CFP Board policies, you will need to take a short post-session quiz to earn CFP CE for watching recorded sessions.

The Institute will report attendance on your behalf to the CFP Board approximately two weeks after the event. The CFP ID field on your Institute account must be complete and accurate for this process to take place. To verify we have your CFP ID: log in to your dashboard account and click “update my demographic information” on the right-hand side to locate the CFP ID field.
 
Access to view sessions for CE Credit is as follows:
In-Person Sessions: sessions will be held in Chicago, IL, September 13 and 14, 2021.  Sessions you are not able to watch because they are concurrent will be available on the platform and your online learning center post conference.
 
On-Demand Sessions: all sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the conference platform and available to view September 20 – 30, 2021; sessions will also be available in your online learning center on the Institute website October 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022.
 
Other Certifications/Licenses
Upon request, the Institute will provide a certificate of attendance after the conference for you to report CE credit hours to certifying bodies and licensing boards not listed above (e.g., state insurance departments, bar associations, etc.).

The topics addressed in this conference are designed for experienced investment and wealth advisors.
