What to Expect: Our Health & Safety Plan

We look forward to seeing you in person at Wealth Advisor Forum. We are excited to welcome our Institute community back to Chicago to meet new colleagues, celebrate old ones and develop new skills and strategies to better serve private wealth clients.

The Investments & Wealth Institute's priority is keeping everyone safe. Our team is committed to creating an event experience where attendees, exhibitors, partners, and employees can safely come together. The Wealth Advisor Forum conference will remain both in-person and on-demand/virtual. This year’s Wealth Advisor Forum has been planned with your health and safety in mind. We are working closely with the Swissôtel and federal, state, and local authorities to stay in accordance with COVID-191 advice and guidelines.

We understand that decisions of health and risk are personal. If your preference of attending in person has changed since you first registered, you may change your registration to on-demand. Simply:

              1.      Log into your Institute dashboard here
              2.      Select My Conferences from the left navigation.
              3.      Select Manage Registration.
              4.      Select how you will attend.
              5.      Select the Add To Cart button. ~ Note: This does not add anything to your cart – it just updates your record and will send you back to the manage registration page.

We are committed to implementing conscious and intentional measures to, in addition to combatting COVID-19, promote healthy best practices. Here's what to expect if attending in person:

      • Extra Safety Checks: Before the doors open, the hotel staff will work hard to ensure the venue is safe, clean, and ready for our Institute community!
      • Low Contact Registration: When you arrive, please come and pick up your registration packet which will include your credentials, lanyard, on-demand login, and a personal hand sanitizer.
      • Hand Sanitizer Stations: Hand sanitizer stations will be placed throughout the Swissôtel. You can visit com for specific information about Swissôtel's updated cleanliness standards and social distancing policy.
      • Spaced Seating: The session rooms will be set “executive education style” with maximum spaced seating.
      • Low-Touch, High-Taste Meals: We have worked with our vendors to provide low-touch, individually packaged meals.
      • Masks: As a member of our community, we do ask that you fully comply with applicable Chicago and CDC COVID-19 health and safety measures and protocols while in attendance at Wealth Advisor Forum, including the State of Illinois and City of Chicago’s current policy that masks are required indoors, regardless of vaccination status.

REMINDER: If you do not want to attend in person and do not want to transfer your registration to an on-demand virtual attendance, please reach out to our conferences team by the close of business on Tuesday, September 7th, to transfer your registration to one of our future conferences at no additional cost or for a refund. To contact conferences, email conferences@i-w.org.

Below we have aggregated current state and local health measures in place, and how you too will play a role in moving the Institute community forward safely.

The Institute has taken and will continue to take all reasonable precautions to prevent against the presence and spread of the disease but cannot and does not guarantee against exposure; and therefore, in choosing to attend the Wealth Advisor Forum attendees acknowledge that they are assuming a risk that you may be exposing yourself to COVID-19 and its potential health risks.
