Certifications

Are the Institute’s other in-person events (CIMA, CPWA, RMA workshops and classes) being cancelled?

At this time, we are making adjustments to accommodate the safety of our candidates, instructors and guests. Any changes to courses or webinars will be communicated by email so please keep an eye on your inbox.

In addition, we have created an event tracker for you to keep tabs on Institute programs. The Institute prioritizes the health and safety of our members, partners, employees and everyone who helps create our world-class education experiences. The Institute is actively monitoring the CDC and local health resources' recommendations concerning the coronavirus and will take appropriate steps if necessary.

The decisions of health and safety for our in-person events on partner campuses, Chicago Booth and Wharton, will be determined by those institutions in accordance with their policies.

I can no longer attend my CIMA Certification in-person portion of my class due to firm travel restrictions. What are my options?

The Institute understands the decisions of health and safety are unique to each firm. For candidates whose firms impose domestic travel restrictions that will not allow individuals to attend scheduled classes, the Institute will defer to the school’s transfer policy for rescheduling classes or transfer of enrollment. Candidates should contact their program’s representative.

Wharton CIMA Class:

If anyone needs to change or transfer out of their cohort due to coronavirus related reasons, Wharton will remove or transfer students to a later cohort at no additional cost.

Wharton candidates can contact the Megan McAnany, Associate Director, Client Relations to inquire about transferring classes. She can be reached at: 215-898-177 or at mmcanany@wharton.upenn.edu

I can no longer attend the CPWA Certification Class at Chicago Booth due to Firm Travel Restrictions. What are my options?

The Institute understands the decisions of health and safety are unique to each firm. For candidates whose firms impose domestic travel restrictions that will not allow individuals to attend scheduled classes the Institute may waive the transfer fee and allow individuals to transfer to a future class or to the Yale online program. Candidates should contact Danielle Lynch (dlynch@i-w.org) to initiate transfer. Documentation will need to be provided.

I can no longer attend my RMA Certification Capstone due to firm travel restrictions. What are my options?

The Institute understands the decisions of health and safety are unique to each firm. For candidates whose firms impose domestic travel restrictions RMA Capstone registrants will need to contact Mary Corbin (mcorbin@i-w.org) to transfer their May RMA Capstone registration. The Institute also now offers an online RMA Capstone.
